Winter Shipping: Safely Through the Cold

Dear eccosmo-nauts,

The transition from summer to winter brings changes not only for the weather but also for our adapted shipping practices. As we are currently in this transitional period, we would like to inform you about how we ensure that our little aquatic friends arrive safely and soundly.

1. Insulated Packaging: Depending on the current weather conditions, some packages may still be shipped in summer packaging, while others already use winter packaging with additional thermal insulation. Depending on the predicted temperatures, we use either our regular summer packaging or our special winter packaging made of Styrofoam.

2. Heat Packs: When it gets colder, we add 1-2 heat packs to the Styrofoam box to ensure the ideal temperature.

4. Regular Temperature Checks: Before shipping each order, we check the temperature along the route corresponding to the postal code. This ensures that we select the best shipping day and the safest method for each order.

3. Carrier Selection: We choose the carrier based on the destination postal code and current weather forecasts. Delivery should always take place within 1-3 days.

5. Tracking: You will always receive a tracking number to check the status and estimated arrival time of your EcoSphere.

6. Flexibility for Delays: If weather conditions require it, we will postpone shipping by a few days and inform you immediately.
